Mami and Papi will be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary this Spring!
The actual date is April 18.
We are going to have a celebration dinner on Saturday, May 23rd in Lansdale. This is Memorial Day weekend.
Mami and Papi would LOVE to have all of you there. Come on and join us to honor this special couple. You will never meet a couple more in love and having fun together for this long than these two. Anyway, we will be sending invitations with details in a couple weeks. MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
I need some help:
If you have some great pics of titi Emma and tio Manuel, please send them by email (if possible) or by mail.
Also, if you can email me your home addresses and other "non-blogging" (a.k.a. lazy) family members. My new email address is tony@miibb.com

P.S. for all the wimpy cousins in Fla . . . it will be warm by then. You will not need your arthritis meds. So come on over. Airtran tickets are still available at $79 one way.

LET'S MAKE THIS A FAMILY REUNION!

***DO NOT POST your addresses here (or any other personal info)

Lost Generation?

Good stuff. Hat tip to Ron.

Make sure you read as well as listen.
This is a video that was submitted in a contest by a 20 year old.
The contest was titled "u @ 50", by the AARP.

Take a minute and watch it. I think it’s worth it.

some food for thought

My pastor asked this yesterday, what would you say?

If you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict?

Super Flush

I'm not sure if it comes with a seat belt, but from the looks of it, you'll need to keep your arms and legs away from the hole at all times.
Can't wait for the comments on this one.
Make it a good one Tom.
Let 'er rip (pun intended)!

OK. One More

Miriam made me do it.

Final Thoughts

This was my third year in a row going to Bike Week and the first time I went with someone else.
I usually go solo.
Having Miriam as my riding partner made it so much better.
We really had a great time. The sky was clear and it got up to 75 or so.

We hung out by the main drag and watched the people and bikes go by.
We grabbed some lunch then he headed up A1A which runs along the Atlantic Ocean.
We made it to Flagler Beach then turned around and came back.
It was beautiful.

At one point we compared riding miles.
I've got about 28,000 miles under my belt.
Miriam's got a little under 1000. Yikes!
We have a lot of riding to do.
And that's what we came away with.
We're hoping to ride together more and venture out to different locations.
Florida really is the best place to have a cycle.
We're hoping to drag some of you down here some day to join us.
Thanks Miriam. Let's do it again :-)
