What do you get a man that has everything?
I am “that man” . . . and I have everything. Hitting the half century mark, I am pleased to announce that in this milestone of my life, God has truly blessed me with everything. Everything that counts. I live in the greatest country in the world (God bless the United States of America). I have the love of my parents, brother & sisters and my kids (Marie & Angelo, Christina and Tommy). The security of a comfortable home in a safe neighborhood. a community of faith that meets regularly as a witness to God’s faithfulness and a risen savior, a job that I truly enjoy and an exciting new love in my life (Valerie). Love, peace, joy and hope.

While we are sharing miracles...
I JUST RECEIVED THIS EMAIL FROM A GOOD FRIEND WHO IS A MISSIONARY THAT HEADS UP A SATELITE SEMINARY IN UKRAINE FROM CALVARY IN LANSDALE.

Dear friends,
Thanks so very much for continuing to pray for "River", his family, and the other believers in Turkmenistan! I've been praying every day that God will overturn the adversaries of the Gospel and overturn their plans. I've been asking God to reveal in this situation that He alone is the true and living God (as in, "I am God and there is none else, and my glory I will not give to another").
Tim called from Istanbul tonight, and I've been just about jumping up and down with excitement and delight in our God! It was a brief but exciting call, in which he related these events which he recounted in an email sent just minutes ago. I'll let his email tell you how God is working:
When God’s children pray, the very gates of hell are shaken and we can and do have a major role in this massive spiritual battle that is being waged on the battlefield of this earth! I just received word about the aftermath of River. The principle of the school in the neighboring village was trying to wreak havoc after he heard about the arrests. This man stated in a public meeting that the region should be infuriated at River and that they should persecute him at every chance they had. He further stated that River should be murdered and the students should be beaten, persecuted and thrown out of school. The very next day this man had a heart attack and died. All were shocked as he was in good health.
However the day after this, the vice principle of the school in River’s village made a call to honor the words of the man who had died. She too called out for great persecution to crush the Christians, to murder River and to beat and throw the girls out of school. The next day she too had a massive heart attack. She is still in intensive care! With these developments, the entire region has been swept with an awesome fear of the God of River. No one dares to speak out against him or against His God. Right now even the Police are afraid to come and question the others about the events of that day.
“If God be for us, who can be against us?” Rom. 8:31. Please continue to be in prayer for this situation as God’s name receives the praise. Pray that many will come to Him through these events. Also please continue to pray for the girl whose father is a mullah. He is a very cruel man, she was tied up and locked in her room, and still we have no word on her condition.
I surely hope that our expressed gratitude and praise are at least as abundant and fervent as our entreaties have been! What a demonstration that "the Lord is on my side; I will not fear, what can man do unto me?"
