Six Months Later . . .

My dear Family & Friends –
I am writing this note to ask for your prayers and to convey some news most of you are already aware of. Those who are close to me know that my marriage of 25-years to Annette has been recently ended. Those of you who have been through it know how agonizing it is, especially if that struggle involves children and a close family like ours.

For those who value the honesty in my life, I want you to know what has happened and also to know that I am open about it and pray that the God of redemption will help me pick up the pieces and weave them into the tapestry of His will.

We all realize there will be consequences for our decisions, but I am seeking the Lord for grace and mercy and likewise the same of the body of Christ.

This has been a hard and painful process – for all of us. Your prayers on our behalf are much appreciated. May God’s sovereignty be made manifest somehow in this situation.

Sincerely,
Tom

Tommy,
Take this from someone who knows the pain and all the agonizing questions that come up at times like this. The one thing that will remain constant in your life is the Lord. He and only He can bring you through all the pain. There is a time to cry, a time for pain, a tIme to hate, but there is also a time for peace, a time for laughter, and a time to love. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He WILL give you the desires of all your heart. My life verse Jeremiah 29;11. "For I know the plans I hve for your, they are plans for good not for disaster, to give you a FUTURE AND A HOPE."
