Busy October

It’s been a usually busy October for us. A few weeks ago Laurie and I drove up to North Carolina for a 4 day get-a-way. Then last week we spent the weekend in Tampa. Adam’s girlfriend’s family lives in Palm Harbor, a short drive from Tampa. Saturday we spent the day at Bush Gardens then spent Sunday with Sarah’s family.

Adam and Sarah have been seeing each other for a little over two years. He could not have picked a sweeter girl. Sometimes when you meet someone you notice a “front” they put on. Then as you get to know them you finally get to see the real person. Sarah has not changed since the day we met her. Her genuine sweetness has not changed. She is the real thing. We’re hoping Adam closes the deal soon.

We spent Saturday at Bush Gardens with Sarah and her family. When you spend time with her family you can see where she gets her sweetness. Real people is what they are. Genuine, kind, funny, gracious and very easy going. They’re also not afraid to have fun. They should fit right in with the crazy Cardona clan.

No, I did not go on this monstrosity. Hey, have I mentioned i turn the big five-0 this year? Well, I'd like to think I've got a few more decades in front of me. This evil machine, that some call fun, would probably shorten that. This little gray duck is happy to just take pictures...
