Today is the birthday of possibly one of the greatest baseball players Lansdale has ever produced. In the words of Tio Gilberto : "Ah no, ese muchacho sabe jugar!"

I always relish the 14 days between March 22nd and April 5th when Chick and I are the same age. But now that he‘s a year older . . . Happy Birthday you old fart.
